Sharon Gainsburg and Goddes of Intention

Sharon Gainsburg found her life's passion more than three decades ago. A passion which led her to Italy where today's masters passed on their centuries old skills inspired by the renaissance. Today the 63 year old Philadelphia native now boasts numerous stone sculptures in corporate collections across the country which include the following:

Today Gainsburg resides in Las Vegas Nevada where she continues to teach stone sculpture in her studio and gallery. Artist's Statement

For me stone holds the truth of the earth. It imparts energy, with tactile fluency and I feel its history and sense it's essence. My sculptures are a mirror for my internal explorations of my spiritual connections. Carving is the language that I have been given with which I communicate from my heart the mystery and magic of life's journey. Stone is a composite of all the elements: fire, earth, air and water - a totality of all matter. When I carve I feel connected to the earth and a universal consciousness.
